Privacy Policy
Effective August 18, 2026

This policy explains what data Appcmo stores when you use the Appcmo platform, and how it's handled. Appcmo is a marketing platform for app founders — it does not have a relationship with the end users of your app, and this policy is written with that distinction in mind.

What we store about you and your business

When you use Appcmo, we store your account details (name, email), the details you provide about your app and brand, and the marketing data our agents generate and act on — things like your Marketing Brain (brand voice, audience, positioning), content plans, published posts, and aggregated performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, and similar). This is business data belonging to you, not personal data about your app's end users.

What we don't store

Appcmo does not store raw personal data about your app's end users. When our agents read behavioral or analytics data (for example, via Amplitude) to inform marketing decisions, what we retain is aggregated marketing intelligence — metrics, content characteristics, and audience segment definitions — not individual user records.

How we store your API credentials

If you connect your own API keys or accounts (for example, a Claude API key, or a social platform connection), each credential is encrypted at rest and scoped to your account. We never log your credentials or return them in any API response. Where a service supports OAuth, we use it instead of storing a raw key. You can revoke any connection at any time from within the app.

Third-party services

Appcmo integrates with services you choose to connect — including analytics providers, social platforms, and AI providers — solely to perform the marketing actions you've authorized. Data shared with these services is governed by their own privacy policies in addition to this one.
